Where We Pray

Where We Pray
Taylor had many friends, and they enjoyed playing together.

Where We Pray
Sometimes his friends were busy and couldn’t play.
“Where are you going, Omar?” Taylor asked his friend.

 Where We Pray
“I am going to the mosque to pray,” said Omar.

 Where We Pray
Later that day, Taylor saw Bennie and his family.
“Where are you going, Bennie?” Taylor asked.

 Where We Pray

“I am going to the synagogue to worship,” Bennie answered.

Where We Pray
Another time, Taylor saw Sonia and her family.
“Where are you going, Sonia?” he asked.

 Where We Pray
“I am going to the temple to worship,” said Sonia.

 Where We Pray
Taylor thought about his friends, and the different places they went.

 Where We Pray
“Mom, all my friends go to different places on special days,” Taylor said.

 Where We Pray
“Is it the same as when we go to church?”

 Where We Pray
“Yes, Taylor, we worship at our church,” Taylor’s mom explained.

 Where We Pray
“Families may go to different places to worship, but we’re all doing the same thing,” said Taylor’s mom. “We’re praying and thanking our maker for our lives.”
